The Talk

2 1/2 hours later I've come to the conclusion that your mom has confirmed everything you've ever told me about her.

2 1/2 hours alone with your mom.

Tis murder on the psyche.

I don't even know where to start.

I guess I'll start with this, she is not jumping up and down and thinks everything is extremely premature.

I completely understand you would want all the details down to body language. However, it is impossible to give you a blow by blow. I needed a break from thinking about it since the conversation and now it is two days later. I will give you the highlights and give as much details as I can remember.

• Compared the secretiveness of us to your relationship with Hans

• Worried about your diabetes

• Doesn't want you to take on two more people to support

• Didn't realize there was an "us" - just thought I was the boyfriend

• Worse timing possible

• Asked about you leaving Hans for me

• Didn't seem happy I was 33 as she thought I was 30

• Everyone can see how well I treat you and Dylan; however, she knows there are things that she knows you want to make you happy and is concerned if I am that person

• Wanted to know what my parents thought

• Saddened that you haven't talked to her about this

• Role model for Dylan

• Leaving each other if we had to for the betterment of our children
