The 8 Mile Run

We did TNT today. We ran 8 miles - during the run I suggested that we do something fun for the kids that was outdoors.

I needed for us to go to the Rose Garden so I could propose. After pretending like I was thinking - I came up with a "treasure map" idea going to different places.

You came up with a scavenger hunt. We had some places in mind but not the rose garden. I said, "we should go to like 3 places - one that has a farm, another place that has a lake and another one with some flowers"

You suggested rose garden.

"rose garden! I forgot about rose garden - that would be a good place" I said. Smiling inside knowing I got you to suggest of where I want to propose.

It kept ringing in my head when you said the other day that I wouldn't be able to surprise you.
