WHAT? We have plans!

I responded with a simple, "Huh?"

"That is president's day weekend babe! Why would the school have a conference on the holiday weekend?" You asked in an annoyed amazement voice.

Because I just made it up without looking at the calendar because that is when my 60 days is up to pay and pick up your engagement ring I thought to myself.

I didn't realize that the 18th is the 3 day weekend we planned for our 3 day trip to the snow.

"Maybe I'm wrong, I didn't really read the email so I will have to check it out later." I answered with slight smile. You told me to find out and get back to you…. Your words went in one ear and out the other as I tried to figure out how I could get the ring a week early and before the paycheck I had originally planned to use to help pay for it.

This is stressful, I gotta get your ring without you knowing and still be able to go on the 3 day trip so you wouldn't know and we could have a little family vacation.

I went to the drawing board like Wil-E-Coyote to figure out my next action plan.
